In this day and age, Social Media Platforms are quickly becoming places that many of us don't want to be a part of. Social Media was meant to bring people together, build communities, and share ideas. However, in many cases, it has becone a platform for spreading hate and disinformation. Circle of Friends is a new form of Social Media that harkens back to the days of the old Computer Bulletin Board Systems. Anyone with a bit of tech savvy and a server should be able to set up their own version of this software and have their own Social Media Platform, inviting only those they wish to have in their community.
